Car of the Future

Mazda Nagare

This future car was introduced at the car show in LA. It's definitely different. The driver sits in the middle of the car. There are seats in the back for two passengers. You can click on the link to view more pictures and to watch a video.

  1. That's a cool looking car, but I won't believe the running on air until I see it...

  2. This is cute and looks a little safer. However, it still looks to me like something batman would drive. I, too, have a hard time believing the whole running on air thing too

  4. This one looks awesome! It reminds me of the car from the batman movies! I think I would totally consider buying this car if i were a billionaire! It will be so cool to see these driving down the street- or even flying!

  5. I hope all the excitement over alernative and low fuel consumption transport continues. I think it will, Americans are finally getting the message. Now is not the time to invest in oil companies. This Mazda is really easy on the eyes.

  6. This is a nice looking car and the fact that it can run on air makes it even better! Unfortunately though most concept cars never make it on the market or it takes several years for them to decide if they will eventually market the vehicle. I have to agree with Robin...definately Batman-esque.

  7. This is very cool looking. It reminds me of the bat mobile. It would take getting used to driving since it is a lot different than a normal car. The only thing I don't like about it is only having room for passengers in the back. I wouldnt like sitting in the back, trying to talk to my boyfriend or my mom in the front. What kind of conversation would that be?

  8. Its hard to believe that a car could run air, but it would be cool! Its a nice looking car, but really low to the ground and it looks like an SUV could just roll over it.

  9. Neat looking car but how practical is it? Runs on air. I don't think the oil companies are going to like this.

  12. I love the design of the car! Although it's not practical for someone like me who has two little children. I'd drive it though if I had no kids.

  14. I agree with you Marion. With all the new concept cars and such...none seem to have taken into consideration much for families and working class vehicles.

  15. I am not into cars but this car looks pretty cool. I love the color and the design. It looks fun to drive. I am not sure how could someone drive being in the middle. Runs on air don't think the government and big auto corporation would like this idea. This would mean money they would loss.

  17. I agree with Marian...A larger car or vehicle is safer and more practical.....Why can't new concept cars be made on a larger scale?

  18. it has a classic futuristic look, but i dont see alot of practicality with it. its like the car is designed for single parents with 1 or 2 kids, and nothing else. if you are on a date, do you want your date riding in the back seat? if you are married, is your spouse riding in the back seat? I know these are minor issues to think about, but they are cultural items that would be changing.
